Ibiza’s Sant Joan has now officially banned smoking and vaping on the beaches of Port de Sant Miquel and Cala de Sant Vicent with fines up to €3,000 for violations.
At the national level, Spain has approved stricter smoke-free laws that could soon ban smoking on bar & restaurant terraces, near hospitals and schools, and at public events, with significant penalties for non-compliance.
