La Paloma

La Paloma was founded in 2004 by a family with a vision to create a restaurant that embraces the authentic beauty of the island. They started small, uncertain of what it would become, but committed to offering fresh homemade food in a welcoming atmosphere. Chef Prasuna Coppini, who learned traditional Italian cooking from her mother in Tuscany, led the kitchen, infusing her own style while prioritizing the quality of ingredients. The restaurant began in a run-down finca, which was transformed with light blue and white paint, suggested by a friend. Another friend and artist, Orietta Sala, contributed by painting flowers and birds on the walls. With the support of friends, locals, and a touch of magic, La Paloma gradually took shape. Situated in the village of San Lorenzo, amidst citrus orchards that bloom with fragrant flowers in spring, the restaurant has become a beloved part of the community.
