People have long strolled down the pinewood-forested road towards Es Figueral for the beach’s crystal clear water, but this summer saw a surprising new spot appear on the shoreline of Ibiza.

An aging beach bar has been taken over by a group of friends who transformed it into a fully fledged Mediterranean kitchen with influences from Mexico and Japan, merging flavours from Italy, Guatemala and the Nordics.

Nudo is a relaxed beach spot with beautiful views, great food and a creative kitchen that makes it one of the most interesting new places on the north-east coast of Ibiza.
